Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies are, the categories HomeProSherpa uses, and how to change your choices at any time. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle the data those cookies help collect.

Last reviewed: 20 June 2026 · Applies to the HomeProSherpa website.

About this policy

This explains the cookie categories below and how to manage them. You control analytics and marketing through the “Cookie settings” button in the footer; strictly-necessary storage remains available so the site can remember essential choices. Questions? Contact us.

01 · The basics

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels and tags — do comparable things, and we treat them the same way here. Cookies let a site remember things between page loads (like which market you chose) and, where you allow it, help us measure how the site is used.

We group what we set into three categories. Strictly-necessary storage supports essential preferences and security. Analytics and marketing are optional and remain off until you allow them.

02 · The categories

The three categories we use

Category Consent What it's for Example providers Rough retention
Strictly necessary Always on — no consent required Makes the site work: remembering your cookie choice, your selected market, security and load-balancing. The site cannot function without these. Consent-preference cookie · market-selection cookie · Cloudflare security/edge cookies Session to ~12 months
Analytics & measurement Always on — runs for all visitors Helps us understand how the site is used, in aggregate, and measure which ad or campaign referred your visit so that if you sign up we credit the right source. Analytics is IP-anonymised and none of this is used to build advertising profiles. This is first-party measurement the platform relies on to attribute leads, so it is not behind a toggle. Google Analytics (Google LLC) — IP-anonymised; data may be processed in the United States · first-party attribution cookie (records the ad/campaign that referred your visit) · first-party visitor identifier Attribution ~90 days · visitor id ~12 months · analytics up to ~14 months
Marketing Off until you opt in Lets third-party affiliate and advertising partners set their own cookies or pixels on HomeProSherpa. These load only with your explicit consent, which applies across the whole Sherpa family of sites operated by Zpella. Third-party affiliate-network and ad-partner pixels Up to ~14 months

This reflects our current cookie use and is kept up to date.

03 · Your choice

How to change your consent

You're in control of the analytics and marketing categories. You can change your mind at any time:

  • Use the “Cookie settings” button. It lives in the site footer on every page. Open it to grant or withdraw analytics and marketing consent. Strictly-necessary storage stays available because the site relies on it for essential preferences and security.
  • Use your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site.

Cookie choices are stored per site or domain; changing a choice here does not automatically update a different Sherpa domain.

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and applies to future optional processing on this site. For the full picture of what data we process and your rights over it, see our Privacy Policy.
