About HomeProSherpa

HomeProSherpa publishes US homeowner guides. We help you ask better questions, compare written scopes and check contractor credentials with the appropriate local authority.

Our mission

Make contractor checks easier to complete

We translate federal, state and local consumer guidance into practical checklists for quotes, credentials, payments, permits, warranties and disputes. Every guide names its jurisdiction, update date and sources.

Who writes this

The HomeProSherpa editorial desk

Our guides are written and maintained by the HomeProSherpa editorial desk — a collective editorial voice, not a fabricated individual “expert.” The current guides were checked against the government sources they cite. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer, licensing authority, engineer or trade professional.
